Steven E. Hamilton, has worked for a variety of interests including the California Association of Small Business Development Centers, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (Environmental Affairs Division), California Independent Petroleum Association, California Natural Gas Producers Association, Future Diagnostics, Inc., Financial Recovery Consultants, RRPI Insurance Services, Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies, West Coast Petroleum Technology Transfer Council, the South Coast Air Quality Management District (Office of Technology Advancement), National Association of Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Green Mountain Energy Company, FPL Energy Co., Clean Power Campaign, Inc., the Community Youth Arts and Sports Foundation, United Domestic Workers Union of America, Methanex-the Methanol Company, California Black Chamber of Commerce, M.G. Refining and Marketing, Inc., Bancinsurance Services, Inc. (BCIS), Records Information Corporation, among others.

Mr. Hamilton served for four years in the administration of Governor George Deukmejian, two years in the Department of Social Services, and in the office of Community Relations and Public Affairs.  He is the Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Congress of Racial Equality of California.
